Black History Bio:

George Washington Carver

Since this is Black History month I felt that some of you should know about a man who was known as George Washington Carver.

George Washintgton Carver inventor , entreprenur , scientist , and botanist was a slave as young man. He came from the bottum , atrue rags to riches story.

Some of you may know him as the black man that made things ot of peanuts like peanut butter , shampoo , and other foods.

There was more to this man than you may know some journalists from http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Washington said, “ He wanted poor familiesto grow alternative crops both as a source of their own food and a source of other products , to improve their own products to improve quality life.

He obviously cared about others in the world and not just ways to make money.

Also in wikipedia, “ He also created or disseminated about over 100 products made from peanut that were useful for the house and farm including cosmetic, dyes, paints, plastics, gasoline, and nitroglycern.


Gorge Washington Carver was a man that will always be remembered , to be one of the first african americans to revolutionise with out violence.
